When the original diesel engine was designed over 100 years ago it ran
on vegetable oil. Once petroleum became cheap and abundant, diesel
engines were modified to run on petroleum distillate also known as
#2 Diesel fuel. In general, diesel engines are more fuel-efficient than their
gasoline counterparts and are used in trucks, buses, ships, generators and cars.

Since then, however, we are starting to face both the environmental and economic
challenges of burning fossil-fuel based energy and the time has come to return
to renewable products as a source of diesel fuel.

Biodiesel may be made from waste cooking oil, virgin plant oil or even algae.
The product has many benefits including:

- It is a renewable fuel
- Reduced emissions
- Enhanced engine life due to increased lubricity
- Non-Toxic & Biodegradable
- Reducing oil imports

Many studies have concluded that biodiesel use reduces emissions, prolongs injector and injector
pump life, reduces the metal particulate in engine oil, which can extend the time between oil drains
and in some cases increases fuel economy.

Purchasing biodiesel

Although we work with fuel suppliers and retail and
wholesale petroleum companies, we can sell biodiesel
to individuals, co-ops and others with certain minimum
quantities.

Since biodiesel is a non-toxic solvent as well as a fuel, it can be used as a feedstock in the paint
and finishing business as well as a biodegradable-degreasing agent. We will work with third parties
to develop diesel fuel additives and other related products.
