Currently, the foodservice industry pays for the removal of what is
in essence is a waste product. We would like to propose an alternative,
the Renewable Fuel Program. Under this program, our fleet will collect waste
oil product from foodservice establishments, restaurants, processors and food
courts in the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga to Oshawa North to Barrie)
at minimal charge! (Minimum quantity is required; we will consider other areas if volume
is significant) Think of the savings and the convenience of prompt service!
Case study: Premiere Office Tower in Toronto
Challenge:
The property management was frustrated since
many barrels of used cooking oil were just sitting
in the loading area creating both health and safety
issues. Restaurant workers would fill and overfill
barrels creating a mess and potential accident site.
Solution:
The Biodiesel Company through its oil collection affiliate CODI designed a complete system,
with custom oil containment, filtering screens and large capacity bin. The client paid a one-time
fee for the fabrication of the collection unit and since then has paid almost nothing for pick-ups!
The job site is now clean, potential slipping or falling lawsuits have been almost eliminated
and property management saves money!
